Working on Web site and getting MSU capstone setup

Setting up a web page is a royal pain in the badonkadonk.

It’s been a comical week. I built a website, and LANL wasted no time blocking it. Seriously, within 10 minutes. Why? No clue. Maybe it was so fresh and mysterious that their algorithm assumed I’d accidentally reinvented PornHub even though all the page said was ‘Hello World’. So, I had an epic mini-adventure trying to convince the internet hall monitors at LANL that my humble creation was, in fact, not an NSFW menace.

Once I got it unblocked, I wanted to change the page from ‘Hello World’ to literally anything else. That simple edit devolved into a two-day expedition through a massive sea of WordPress tutorials. The real struggle? There are approximately one billion “Beginner’s Guides to WordPress,” and 99.9% of them assume I’m a suburban mom trying to start a gluten-free cupcake blog.

I’m beginning to make some progress, but honestly, I find running computational models to be so much easier and more understandable than creating web content.
